Thursday: Youngest Son Faith Confession...

Father, in the name of Jesus: I pray for My son in this next endeavor using the talents that you’ve given him. Father, Your Word says “blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight [is] in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. You said he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” And My son has done that since being a small child. I pray that My son will seek Your face in all that he does. I pray that he develops a heart for Christian Rap Music as a teenager and into his young adulthood.

I thank You Father that My son manages his time wisely – between the Word and the world – with a GPA of 3.5+ with honors. I pray for optimum scholarship opportunities in Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen. My son has waited patiently upon You and You have heard his cry, his mother’s and mine as his earthly father. You have set his feet upon a rock and established his steps. Many will see it and fear and trust in You, Lord. Raise My son up Lord, in stature among his peers, because I know You are pleased with him. Bring unto him in the fullness of time and spiritual maturity, the wife of his youth that will support and delight him. Uphold his integrity and set him before Your face forever.

In this present darkness we do not wrestle with flesh and blood, coaches, and campus politics, but against principalities, powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual host in high places. We therefore take on the whole Armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace for our feet, the shield of faith to withstand the fiery darts of the wicked, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Lord, before You formed My son in Cassandra’s womb, You knew him and You named him before his birth: “God has given.”

We will enlarge our tent and expect a harvest despite our current circumstances. For “Your thoughts are not our thoughts, Your ways are not our ways,” O Lord. My son shall wait upon You, Lord, and renew his strength: he shall mount up on wings like eagles, he shall run and not get weary; he shall walk and not faint. No weapon formed against My son shall prosper, and every tongue that raises against him in judgment You shall condemn. He is Your servant and this IS the heritage of the servants of the Lord. We are not anxious and have the peace of God that passes all understanding in this faith fight and trial. We will meditate on whatever things are true, whatever things [are] noble, whatever things [are] just, whatever things [are] pure, whatever things [are] lovely, whatever things [are] of good report, if [there is] any virtue and if [there is] anything praiseworthy being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in My son will complete [it] until the day of Jesus Christ.

You make My son’s feet like the steady [feet] of deer, and set him on high places. You teach My son’s hands to make war on the basketball court, so that his arms can bend a bow of bronze.

We pray for professional and college exposure, high academic achievement, recognition as Point Guard with the highest percentage at the free throw line; coolness under pressure and “double-double” performance from him for the Crusaders – points, rebounds, assists, and steals in Jesus’ Name.

We pray for healing, health, optimum performance and 10+ wins in Jesus’ Name. Lord, we have the faith as a grain of mustard seed and we shall say unto this mountain: REMOVE hence to yonder place and it SHALL remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto My son. We follow this faith with prayer and fasting in Jesus’ Name, AMEN!
