Monday: Cassandra Confession

Father, in the Name of Jesus: I thank YOU that YOUR Word says: “Husbands, likewise, dwell with [them] with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as [being] heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.”

It shall come to pass, if Cassandra diligently obeys the voice of the LORD her God to observe carefully all His commandments which He commands her today, that the LORD her God will set her high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon Cassandra and overtake her, because she obeys the voice of the LORD her God: “She is blessed in the city, and she is blessed in the country. Blessed is the fruit of her body, the produce of her ground and the increase of her herds, the increase of her cattle and the offspring of her flocks. Blessed are her basket and her kneading bowl. Blessed is Cassandra when she comes in, and blessed when she goes out. The LORD causes her enemies who rise against her to be defeated before her face; they shall come out against her one way and flee before her seven ways! The LORD commands the blessing on Cassandra in her storehouses and in all to which she sets her hand, and He blesses Cassandra in the land which the LORD her God has giving her.” The LORD established Cassandra as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to her if Cassandra keep the “commandments of the LORD her God and walk in His ways.” Then all peoples of the earth shall see that Cassandra is called by the name of the LORD, and they shall be afraid of her. And the LORD grants Cassandra plenty of goods, in the fruit of her body, in the increase of her livestock, and in the produce of her ground, in the land of which the LORD swore to her fathers to give her. The LORD opens to Cassandra His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to her land in its season – THIS IS HER SEASON, and to bless all the work of her hands. Cassandra lends [to] many nations, but she shall not borrow. And the Lord has made Cassandra the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath, and Cassandra heeds all the Commandments of the Lord her God which He commands her today, and is careful to observe [them].

"Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. My heart safely trusts Cassandra; so I will have no lack of gain. She does me good and not evil all the days of her life. Cassandra seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands. She is like the merchant ships; she brings her food from afar. She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household and a portion for her maidservants. She considers a field and buys it; from her profits she plants a vineyard. She girds herself with strength, and strengthens her arms. She perceives that her merchandise is good, and her lamp does not go out by night. She stretches out her hands to the distaff, and her hand holds the spindle. She extends her hand to the poor, yes; she reaches out her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed with scarlet. Cassandra makes tapestry for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple. I AM KNOWN in the gates, when I sit among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies sashes for the merchants. Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. Cassandra opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; I her husband also, and I praise her: "Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all." Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman [like Cassandra Lynn Goodwin] who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands Lord, and let her own works praise her in the gates."
